Guest: Michael Perkins – rebroadcast from 02/03/2018

Know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. 2 Peter 1:20-21

God doesn’t just exist. He hasn’t created everything and left us trying to figure out who He is and what He desires for us. No, God has revealed His character and His will in writing in the Bible. In other words, God spoke the world into existence and He still speaks today in His word.

The apostle Paul made the unambiguous assertion: “All Scripture is inspired by God…” But what does inspiration mean? How were the books of the Bible compiled? How do we know our current English translations are anything like the originals? What value is Scripture for us today?

This weekend on The Christian Worldview, MD Perkins will join us to answer these questions. He is the director of The God Who Speaks, a just-released feature-length documentary film that examines the evidence for the Bible.

Join us to have your faith strengthened and your worldview sharpened about the God who speaks in Scripture.
