Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?  1 Corinthians 1:20

Over the last many decades, the worldview of our country and the evangelical church has shifted.  The country has cast off biblical foundations for society, family, morality, purpose, and identity in favor of humanistic values.  And the church, instead of obeying the call to be separate from the world (2 Cor. 6:14-18), has actually appropriated worldliness, whether in music, message, or marketing.

What is the source of this worldview shift?  Asked another way, who or what is the influencer that has led the country and the church in the aforementioned direction?

Fundamentally, the sin nature of man and Satan are always at work, but where that work has been most effective is through higher education, whether at the secular or Christian college campus or seminary.

This weekend on The Christian Worldview, we’ll examine how higher education has changed the worldview of the country and the church and how Christians can be equipped to overcome this undermining influence.
