What does it mean that Christ is the believer’s High Priest?  This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.
When Jesus died on the cross, the veil in the temple that the high priest passed through once a year to offer a sacrifice for the sins of the people was torn in two from top to bottom.  In other words, God did the tearing.
What did this signify?  The writer of Hebrews says: when Christ appeared as a high priest … He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands … and not through the blood of [animals], but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
Christ is the believer’s eternal High Priest.
This weekend, Ken Ham joins us to discuss how to respond when you are hated for your faith.
