Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Ephesians 6:13

For anyone who thought a change of calendar year would somehow alter the stressful trajectory in America, this past week would have been a rude reality check.

First, the two senatorial runoff elections in Georgia were won by two leftist Democrat candidates, giving Democrats control of the US Senate, House, and Presidency. Count on at least the next two years being an all-out imposition of ungodly policies and persecution.

The very next day on January 6, huge pro-Trump rallies with tens of thousands of people were held in Washington D.C. to urge the Congress not to certify the 2020 presidential election due to allegations of voting fraud that led to Joe Biden becoming president.

Things devolved as protesters breached the Capitol building, shutting down the electoral college proceedings. One woman died of a gunshot wound.

Today on The Christian Worldview, we’ll examine this momentous week and prepare to “stand firm” in the Lord and His Word for whatever happens next.
