Guest: Mike Farris, Constitutional Attorney

Jesus answered and said, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? Matthew 19:4-5

By late June, the Supreme Court of the United States is expected to make a judgment on whether a state can refuse to license same-sex marriages and refuse to recognize same-sex marriage from other states.

If the court rules in favor of same-sex marriage, it is no overstatement to say that the freedoms and benefits of those who believe in biblical marriage will be placed in serious jeopardy.

Consider the response by Solicitor General Donald Verrilli when Justice Samuel Alito asked him in the oral argument phase whether Christian colleges could lose their tax-exempt status as Bob Jones did in the 1980s due to their inter-racial dating policy.  Verrilli replied that “it’s certainly going to be an issue.”

Joining us this weekend to explain the ramifications of the Supreme Court decision is Mike Farris, constitutional attorney, president of Patrick Henry College, and the co-author of the original 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act.  Please tune in to be informed and ready to act on this important issue.
